Hi! I’m Faith.

A multimedia journalist based in Southern California.

I’m the creator and host of “Foretold,” a new podcast at
the Los Angeles Times.

Previously, I covered politics and local news at the Times, the Daily Pilot,
the Indianapolis Star,
the Washington Times
and WMRA public radio.

I create stories in a variety of forms: print articles, podcast episodes, video shorts, newsletters, explainer guides. I make guest appearances for TV and radio stations. I also take on freelance editing work, helping others share their stories through personal statements and cover letters. And in my free time, I love mentoring student journalists.

I am most fulfilled when reporting on the squishy stuff of life — faith, politics, culture. The stuff that makes us who we are … and the stuff that can be hard to talk about. I believe that sharing stories from that rich, uncomfortable place makes us understand each other better. It reveals our interconnectedness and helps us overcome division.

Aside from journalism, I love to host, cook, practice yoga, putz with my plants, visit new places and eat tacos.
